“IKEDA Manabu: The Pen - Condensed Universe - “ will open on Wednesday 27th September at Nihombashi Takashimaya.
Having been widely acclaimed at its previous touring venues of the Saga Prefectural Museum of Art the and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa, Nihombashi Takashimaya marks the retrospective’s final museum venue.

“IKEDA Manabu: The Pen - Condensed Universe”

Venue: Nihombashi Takashimaya 8F Hall
Admission: 10:30 -19:00 (doors close at 19:30)
*Please note that the exhibition will close at 18:00 on its final day)
Admission: general 800 yen, university and high school students 600 yen, junior high school students and younger have free admission

Related Event:
In conjunction with the exhibition, a live discussion event shall be held between IKEDA Manabu and Dr. Russell Panczenko, Director Emeritus of the Chazen Museum of Art, where Ikeda spent over three years completing his major work “Rebirth”.
