We are going to have YAMAGUCHI Akira's solo exhibition "Chukado (The Art of Electric Pole Arrangement)."
Chukado is an aesthetic approach to the expression of utility poles, often despised for their ability to ruin a landscape, by arranging them in the style of a Japanese ikebana flower arrangement.
An enlarged version of his work Independent Research (Chukado) shown for the first time at the solo exhibition Now, Oyamazaki... will be exhibited with a focus on text, drawings and a three-dimensional installation that will be shown to the public for the first time.
